STASH home cafe vol. 1

a home cafe project
Hosting a home cafe was something that Stacey and I had wanted to do for a while now (almost a year?) but we each got new jobs recently and became busy being NPCs for a good part of the year. Things settled down a little bit, and we finally got down to making it happen. This home cafe was put together over course of 2 video calls, one sleepover and a last minute trip to the print store. Here are some notable pieces:
- An 8-bit-themed menu

- A proper Breville coffee machine (borrowed from Stacey’s friend Lionel)
- Bakes by Kiera
- An ordering system

Yes, we made an entire webapp for people to place their orders, with a scannable QR code to boot.

- A staff dashboard
- Colouring pages
- Conversation cards

(try the pixel art generator, it’s cool!)
- Signages

This was a lot of fun! We perhaps enjoyed coming up with the concept and designing everything around the cafe more than making the drinks themselves. Thanks Stacey for being a great collab partner as always.
PS — I wonder how cafe owners feel about people cosplaying their jobs.
